CES 2024: Mercedes-Benz’s hyper-personalised user experience to be presented

AI-heavy infotainment system – real deal in production cars?

Mercedes gave us a sneak peek at the AI-packed entertainment system they're bringing to CES 2024 in Las Vegas this January. Their next-gen MBUX system is taking the 'Hey Mercedes' voice assistant to a new level, the brand says. Merc also ensures the new system will deliver ‘human-like interaction’ and further simplify the car functions without taking your hands off the wheel.

Mercedes says their MBUX set for CES is powered by their own MB.OS operating system and will deliver ‘several digital innovations’ when it’s presented in January. The brand (as of now) is keeping things under wraps but they did let slip that this infotainment setup runs high-res game-engine graphics from Unity. Even though they're calling it a ‘concept infotainment system’, it's more like a sneak peek at what's coming soon for Mercedes buyers.

The Concept CLA Class also celebrates its North American premiere at CES 2024. Based on the MMA (Mercedes Modular Architecture) and MB.OS, it offers a close-to-production insight into the future family of four vehicles.
