At CES this time around, Jabra is rolling out new updates for its Elite wireless earbuds. The Elite 8 Active and Elite 10 in the series are getting fresh noise suppression algorithms. Word is, these updates are going to amp up the ANC (Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation) feature.
According to Jabra, the first batch of updates for the Elite series earbuds is set to roll out in January 2024. It introduces an easy-to-use on/off toggle for ANC, HearThrough, and Sidetone features, along with some fresh voice tone prompts. You can anticipate crisper calls and better awareness of your surroundings courtesy of the upgraded HearThrough feature.
These updates are aimed towards boosting interaction and letting you fine-tune your earbuds to suit your preferences. Plus, with the new update, you can also personalise the name of your earbuds.
For Elite 10 the update is expected to roll out by March 2024, Jabra says, it will bring optimisation for call clarity. This tweak aims to make your calls sound crystal clear, even in bustling places like offices, restaurants, and busy streets. Jabra claims their noise suppression algorithms are on point, ready to pick up and dial down those pesky background voices.
Jabra Elite 8 Active users will receive an upgrade for the Adaptive ANC too. Thanks to the new wind noise detection technology and the HearThrough feature, you can look forward to clear sounds in noise conditions. These updates are on the house! Whether you're a fresh user or have been using the Elite 8 Actives for a while, you can get these improvements through free over-the-air updates via the Sound+ app.
