CES 2025: Asus’s refreshed ROG Flow Z13 runs on the new AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395

With Radeon 8060S Graphics

Asus has rolled out an upgrade to its 2-in-1 gaming machine, the ROG Flow Z13, at CES 2025. The device flexes some muscle with the option to configure it with an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 chip and Radeon 8060S graphics, delivering up to 50 NPU TOPS performance. Backing that up is up to 128GB of LPDDR5X 8000MHz RAM and 1TB of storage.

It features a 13-inch 2.5K Nebula display with a 2.5K resolution, a 180Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. You can expect vibrant visuals with 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and 500 nits of peak brightness.

Under the hood, Asus has introduced a new stainless steel and copper vapour chamber paired with dual second-gen Arc Flow Fans for heat management. Hot air exits through ultrathin 0.1mm heatsink fins, while a handy new Command Center button gives you instant access to system controls.

The 2025 ROG Flow Z13 also comes equipped with a solid range of ports—dual USB Type-C, an HDMI 2.1, USB Type-A, microSD card reader, and an audio combo jack. Oh, and don’t forget the 70Wh battery that’s set to outlast its predecessors, giving you more playtime without the constant search for an outlet, as per Asus.
