CES 2025: Dolby showcases first car to support both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos

And, the CES debut of Dolby Vision for cars!

At CES 2025, Dolby showcased its latest in-car entertainment upgrades. The Li Auto Li MEGA takes the spotlight as the first vehicle to feature both Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision. Dolby also unveiled Dolby Vision for vehicles, featuring vibrant colours and deeper contrasts to redefine in-car displays. To top it off, a partnership with Samsung Display was announced, promising to bring Dolby Vision tech to more vehicles worldwide.

The showcase also spotlighted the 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ, Cadillac's first model to feature Dolby Atmos as a standard, integrated into its premium 19-speaker AKG audio system. Pioneer further demonstrated the flexibility of Dolby Atmos, showcasing how the technology can be implemented in aftermarket car audio systems, offering a fresh upgrade path for in-car audio enthusiasts.

Dolby also announced that over 20 car manufacturers, including Cadillac, Mercedes-Benz, Rivian, and Volvo, now integrate Dolby Atmos. At CES 2025, the company revealed a collaboration with Sony Honda Mobility to bring Atmos to its upcoming EV, the Afeela 1.
