CES 2025: Honda’s launching into the future with its 0 Series EV prototypes

An all-new sedan and a SUV!

At CES 2025, Honda's 0 Series made a debut with two show-stopping prototypes – the 0 SUV based on the Space-Hub concept, and the 0 Saloon, a nod to the Saloon concept.

The Honda 0 Saloon looks quite futuristic, while still echoing the 2024 concept with blocky D-pillars and familiar rear tail lights. Honda claims that the EV’s platform houses a battery that’s around 8mm thinner than competitors’, offering more room inside. The 0 Series sedan will reportedly feature a 90kWh NMC battery, offering a range of over 482km, with a larger 100kWh option available.

The Honda 0 SUV, on the other hand, sports a bold black panel design with pixelated headlights and an illuminated Honda logo, alongside a chunky bumper and raked windshield. Thick D-pillars and a slim rear windshield give it a distinctive look, while U-shaped taillights round out its rear design. Honda has yet to reveal the SUV’s technical specs.

Honda has also announced that it has developed ASIMO OS to manage key systems in its 0 Series vehicles, including autonomous driving, driver assistance, and infotainment, with support for over-the-air updates. If reports are to be believed the 0 Series will feature Level 3 ADAS, allowing hands-free driving in certain situations.

The 0 SUV is expected to hit US roads in early 2026, followed by the Saloon later in the year. Both models will be produced at Honda's EV Hub in Ohio.
