Citroen C3 crossover officially launched in India

Prices start at ₹5,70,500

We found the Citroen C3 to be very French, and yet with enough tweaks in there to make it suitable for the Indian conditions. Now this compact hatchback/SUV has officially arrived at our shores with prices starting at ₹5,70,500 (ex-showroom).
Citroen is calling the C3 a hatchback sporting an SUV-like stance, with 180mm ground clearance, and sitting on 15in alloys. It borrows design elements from the more expensive C5 Aircross. The C3’s face sports split headlamps and DRLs along with the chevron pattern.

The feature list includes a 10in touchscreen with support for wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, four-speaker audio system, and USB ports on the front and rear.
There are two petrol engine options to choose from – 1.2L NA producing 82hp and 115NM, and a 1.2L Turbo producing 110hp and 190Nm. The former is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox, while the latter is mated to a six-speed manual. At the time of launch, there’s no automatic gearbox on offer.
As mentioned, prices for the Citroen C3 start from ₹5,70,500 for the Live variant, and go up to ₹8,05,500 for the turbo top variant.
