Computex 2024: Acer DA1 and Nitro GA1 series monitors, Predator OLED gaming displays and All-in-One Aspire C series desktops

Beyond the lineup of laptops unveiled at Computex 2024, Acer has expanded its horizons with a range of new products. This includes the introduction of smart monitors – Acer DA1 and Nitro GA1 series monitors, as well as OLED gaming displays under the Predator lineup. Additionally, Acer has revealed what is said to be its first AI-powered All-in-One PCs, the Aspire C series desktops.

Acer's new releases are the Acer DA1 and Nitro GA1 series monitors aim to integrate entertainment, work, and gaming. Available in 31.5-inch and 27-inch models, these smart monitors have integrated Google TV, providing easy access to popular streaming apps such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, and YouTube, all accessible from a single screen.

The DA1 series also places a premium on productivity, offering features like wireless projection, screen mirroring, and Multiview. On the other hand, the Nitro GA1 series is tailored for gamers, featuring WQHD resolution, a 180Hz refresh rate, and minimal input lag for a responsive gaming experience.

Acer is also aiming to set new standards for gaming displays with the unveiling of three Predator OLED monitors – the X27U F3, X32 X3, and X34 X5. These monitors feature speed and visual fidelity, offering refresh rates of up to 480Hz, true 10-bit colour depth for visuals, and NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility for tear-free gaming sessions.

The Predator X27U F3, a 27-inch WQHD monitor, is designed for competitive gamers, featuring a 480Hz refresh rate and a rapid 0.01ms response time. Stepping up the game, the 31.5-inch Predator X32 X3 offers a 4K UHD resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the expansive 34-inch Predator X34 X5 provides an immersive ultrawide experience with UWQHD resolution, an 1800R curvature, and a 240Hz refresh rate.

Moving on to the Aspire C Series PCs, the devices are powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, they support up to 32 GB of DDR5 memory and a 2 TB M.2 PCIe SSD for ample storage and smooth performance. Plus, the PCs come bundled with the Acer Elite 19 wireless keyboard and mouse set, and feature four USB Type-A ports, a Type-C port, and HDMI connectivity.

The Aspire C All-in-One PCs are equipped with 23.8- and 27-inch FHD IPS displays featuring thin bezels, offering up to 95.7% screen-to-body ratio for the 27-inch model. These PCs include Acer Bluelight Shield, which adjusts blue light levels to reduce eye strain. The devices  sport a slim, minimalist design, with a tiltable screen (-5 to 25°), swivel function (up to 30° Left/Right), and a height-adjustable stand (up to 120 mm). Optional VESA mount kits are also available for further customisation.

Additional features include the Copilot AI companion, Intel Unison software, 1440p QHD 5.0-megapixel webcams with privacy shutters, and Acer PurifiedVoice with AI noise reduction for clear communication. Connectivity options are robust, including Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth LE audio for seamless connectivity.
