Power and Precision?

Asus ROG has unveiled the newest iteration of its Zephyrus G16 gaming laptop, powered by an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, which the brand touts as perfect for AI-centric tasks. This processor features a dedicated NPU tailored for AI operations. Coupled with its 12 cores and 24 threads, the chip is primed to offer enhanced performance for tasks ranging from photo and video editing to leveraging cutting-edge features in Windows.

Featuring a dedicated Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU with a maximum TGP of 105 watts, the laptop is said to deliver up to 321 TOPS of AI performance. It also promises an impressive HDR experience. Supporting this hardware is ROG Intelligent Cooling, which includes liquid metal on the CPU and a new fibre-and-mesh heat-pipe system. The laptop features a tri-fan design with second-generation Arc Flow Fans.

This new AMD platform is housed in a thin and lightweight design, tipping the scales at 1.85 kg. The chassis is crafted from high-quality aluminium and features a customisable light bar on the lid for a personalised touch. The laptop features a ROG Nebula display with an OLED panel that supports Nvidia G-Sync. And, a 16:10 aspect ratio, 2.5K resolution, and a 240 Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the G16 is equipped with 32GB of memory and supports the new SD Express 7.0 standard for fast file transfers from your camera. It's also the first ROG laptop to feature WiFi 7, delivering faster wireless speeds with reduced lag (assuming you have a compatible router).
