Computex 2025: AI TOP 100 Z890 is Gigabyte’s premium gaming and AI desktop

The brand is stepping into new territory—and it’s putting AI front and centre!

Gigabyte desktops are on the way. Known for its high-performance components and gaming rigs, the brand is now gearing up to launch its first line of consumer desktop PCs. Leading the charge is the AI TOP 100 Z890. The desktop features a liquid-cooled Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, paired with the mighty Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 and 128GB of DDR5 memory.

Running on Windows 11 Pro or Linux, the AI TOP 100 Z890 is built from the ground up with Gigabyte’s own AI TOP components—including the Z890 motherboard, AI-optimised SSD storage, and 1600W power supply. These core elements come together with cutting-edge silicon to form a desktop that’s primed for heavy-duty AI workloads and ultra-smooth 4K gaming, per Gigabyte.

The AI TOP 100 Z890 is smartly connected. With support for dual Thunderbolt 5 ports, it delivers up to 120 Gbps of data transfer speed while enabling system clustering, allowing users to link multiple AI TOP desktops for expanded computing power when handling large-scale models.

Wi-Fi 7 brings in the flexibility of high-speed wireless connectivity and acts as a backup network layer, ensuring uninterrupted performance across AI tasks. And, dual 10G LAN ports offer low-latency and rapid data transfer, streamlining access to shared storage and enabling smooth collaboration and deployment of AI models.
