Dell Alienware m18 and x16 R1 are the new exorbitant laptops on the market

They will cost you

Dell just dropped two new gaming laptops in India - the Alienware m18 and x16 R1. These bad boys come packed with 13th Gen Intel Core processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs, making them more powerful than The One Ring and more expensive than a wedding ring. The m18 is Alienware's most brawny laptop yet, while the x16 R1 is their fancy-pants model with a futuristic design and QHD displays with  Dolby Atmos sound that supposedly could transport you to another dimension.

These laptops also have some new thermal design upgrades, including Element 31 enhancements, a vapour chamber, and four ultra-thin fans. It's like having your own personal air conditioner but for your laptop.

The m18 is a beast with a 165Hz (QHD) display, featuring up to 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13980HX processors and the full stack of next-gen Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 series Laptop GPUs and enough storage capacity to make your grandma jealous.

The x16, on the other hand, is a more portable option that still packs a punch with six speakers, including two up-firing tweeters for clarity and a dual woofer configuration for strong bass and the best AlienFX experience. The laptop is enhanced with new AlienFX Scanner, Loop, and Rainbow lighting mods and let's not forget about the HyperEfficient Voltage Regulation technology - it's like having a personal energy coach for your laptop.

But all this power and performance comes at a price - a price that will make you cry harder than when you watched "The Notebook." So, unless you want to eat ramen noodles for the next year, you might want to start saving up now. They are priced starting at ₹3,59,990 and ₹3,79,990 for the Alienware m18 and Alienware x16 R1 respectively.
