Dell has unveiled its latest PC lineup in India, introducing the Copilot AI-powered XPS 13 and Inspiron 14 Plus. The XPS 13 is equipped with a Snapdragon processor, while the Inspiron 14 Plus also features a Snapdragon chip to elevate the AI experience for users. Both laptops boast all-day battery life and include an integrated Qualcomm Hexagon NPU for local AI processing, along with a Copilot+ feature.
Both the XPS 13 and Inspiron 14 Plus feature Cocreator, enabling users to generate AI-created images using descriptive words and brushstrokes. Live Captions translate live or pre-recorded audio from 44 languages into English. Additionally, new Windows Studio effects allow you to adjust lighting and apply creative filters, enhancing call collaboration.
The Dell XPS 13 is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon X1 EliteX1E-80-100 CPU, complemented by the Qualcomm Adreno GPU and Qualcomm Hexagon NPU. It features an OLED display option that offers higher brightness and lower power consumption, extending usage time by over 10% compared to previous OLED generations, as per Dell. The XPS 13 features a battery life of up to 27 hours on a single charge, including continuous streaming on an FHD+ display for the same duration.
Meanwhile, the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus X1P-64-100 processor. It delivers up to 21 hours of local video playback or 15 hours of 4K streaming on a single charge with its QHD+ display. This model also features dual microphones for voice commands and utilises Qualcomm's Always-On Sensing technology with presence detection, enhancing security by allowing secure logins and safeguarding against screen peeking. The Dell XPS 13 is available starting at ₹1,39,990, while the Inspiron 14 Plus starts at ₹1,15,590.
