If you are in the market for an all-in-one drone, check out DJI's Avata. Claiming to be the company’s “ultimate immersive drone experience", it's great if you are big on first-person view (FPV) flight. To appreciate the experience, the drone pairs with the DJI Goggles 2 and the DJI Motion controller. You can also control it with the existing DJI FPV Remote Controller 2 and the DJI FPV Googles V2.
The drone comes with an 18-minute battery life courtesy of its 2,420 mAh battery, and it weighs just 410g. It features integrated propeller guards for safety in enclosed spaces (because that requires far too much trust), while the 155-degree field-of-view ultrawide camera features a 1/1.7in CMOS sensor. It is capable of shooting video in 4K at 60fps, as well as 2.7K at 50/60/100/120fps.
It claims to do it all – hover like a traditional drone, accelerate like a racer, zoom in and out of tight spaces, and stop milliseconds. If you don't have perfect control and happen to land it upside down, the new Turtle Mode allows it to flip back up and take off again. The device comes with three modes – Normal, Manual and Sport (a hybrid of the other two).
The DJI Avata is priced at $629 (₹57,000 approx.) by itself or $1,388 (₹1,10,000 approx) bundled with the DJI Goggles 2 and the DJI Motion Controller.
