DJI has introduced its first-ever 360-degree action camera, the Osmo 360. It is capable of recording 8K video at 50fps with a full 360-degree field of view and is equipped with a 1-inch sensor and can shoot 360-degree still photos at 120 megapixels.
DJI’s new 1-inch square-shaped HDR sensors, the company claims, help minimise bulk while delivering high performance. Weighing 183 grams, it stays lightweight and portable. The camera supports 10-bit video capture, giving users greater flexibility in post-production colour grading.
The Osmo 360 features a host of upgrades aimed at boosting both performance and usability. SuperNight mode enhances low-light shooting for sharper, cleaner footage in dark environments. Selfie mode supports wide-angle videos with high frame rates, while a new slow-motion feature captures action at up to 100fps for dramatic effect.

It also brings smart functionality, including voice and gesture controls for hands-free recording. For smooth, cinematic output, it features HorizonSteady and RockSteady stabilisation tech that corrects shake while preserving movement. Using the DJI Mimo app, you can also enable subject tracking—keeping people, vehicles, or pets centred when exporting clips.
The DJI Osmo 360 offers 105GB of onboard storage, with support for microSD expansion to handle larger projects. Its OLED touchscreen is built for ease of use and remains visible even in bright lighting conditions—perfect for outdoor filming sessions.
Powering the Osmo 360 is a 1,950mAh battery. According to DJI, it offers up to 100 minutes of recording in 8K at 30fps, and extends to 190 minutes when shooting in 6K at 24fps—ideal for extended filming sessions.
While the Osmo 360 hasn’t officially gone on sale yet, DJI has listed the standard combo at $549 (approx. Rs. 47,900).
