DJI Osmo Mobile 7 series smartphone gimbals have DJI’s latest tracking tech up their sleeves

To keep every moment under full control.

DJI Osmo Mobile 7 and 7P are the latest in its lineup of phone gimbals, featuring seventh-gen three-axis stabilisation and intelligent tracking via ActiveTrack 7.0. DJI says that whether you are capturing spontaneous moments or crafting cinematic masterpieces, these gimbals promise smooth footage with phones that weigh up to 300g.

The Osmo Mobile 7P steps things up with a Multifunctional Module, letting you track subjects without needing the DJI Mimo app. Just wave your palm or tap the trigger, and it locks onto moving subjects using your phone’s native camera, live-streaming apps, or other third-party software.

Hook it up to the DJI Mimo app, and you unlock a suite of smart shooting modes, including Timelapse, Panorama, and DynamicZoom. Pair it with the Multifunctional Module, and things get even more interesting. Built-in lighting with adjustable brightness and colour temperature keeps your shots crisp in dim conditions, while onboard audio reception enhances your footage with cleaner sound.

Designed for easy setup, the Osmo Mobile 7 Series features a magnetic mounting system that makes snapping your phone in place effortless. It powers up the moment you unfold it, with the DJI Mimo app launching automatically, so you're ready to roll in seconds. Plus, an integrated extension rod and tripod mean you’re equipped for the right angle.

The Osmo Mobile 7P also features a handy side wheel that lets you finesse your shot with precision, rolling between focal lengths for dynamic framing. A quick press shifts it into manual focus mode, while a long press adjusts the fill light’s brightness and colour temperature, putting cinematic tweaks at your fingertips.

Battery life clocks in at 10 hours, and thanks to its USB-C port, the 7P doubles as a power source for your phone. Plug in the Multifunctional Module, and it transforms into a microphone receiver.

For those after a more budget-friendly option, DJI is also rolling out the Osmo Mobile 7. It retains the pull-out tripod but skips the telescoping selfie stick, the Multifunctional Module, and the side wheel for fine-tuning focus, zoom, and lighting.

The Osmo Mobile 7P lands at $149 (approx. ₹12,900), while the pared-down Osmo Mobile 7 offers a more wallet-friendly alternative at $89 (approx. ₹7,700).
