This is the first look at the box art of the upcoming EA Sports FC24 football game and it's got some serious star power! The initial reveal is for the Ultimate Edition, which is going to be a premium-priced edition of the game. Who do we have gracing the cover, you ask? None other than football legends Pelé, Zinedine Zidane, and David Beckham, and they've also included some current superstars like Erling Haaland, Jude Bellingham, Sam Kerr, and Marta. However, despite the star-studded cast, there's no sign of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, or Kylian Mbappé and we wonder why?
In the official announcement film for EA Sports FC24, which is captured entirely on their Frostbite Engine, you'll witness the Ultimate Edition cover come to life. Voiced by Daniel Kaluuya, the film emphasises EA Sports' commitment to bringing the global EA Sports FC community closer to "The World's Game" and hopefully leaving the FIFA moniker behind.
EA Sports has also announced a live stream event scheduled for July 13, 2023. This event will unveil the first proper information about EA Sports FC24, it’s very first game under the new branding since parting ways with the official FIFA license. Along with keynote addresses from executive spokespeople and special guests, we also expect the global cover athlete for the Standard Edition.
