Epic Games and their uphill battle with Google Play Store and Apple Store is not news to anyone but now Epic Games is taking things into their own hands, or store, I should say. The Epic Games Store is now available for Android (worldwide) and iOS (only in the EU).
The store debuts with a trio of popular titles: Fortnite, Rocket League Sideswipe, and the newly launched Fall Guys.
The EU's Digital Markets Act has played a crucial role in enabling the Epic Games Store's launch on iOS within the region. However, the company acknowledges that the fight is far from over, as Apple continues to block access to the store for iOS users outside of Europe. Epic Games Store is also expanding its reach beyond the traditional app stores by partnering with third-party platforms like AltStore PAL.
Installing it on Android is super easy and if you’ve been using an Android smartphone/tablet for some time the process is fairly simple. It requires downloading the APK from Epic’s website and installing it. Here’s the YouTube tutorial for installing it on Android. As for iOS users, you will need to have your account from the EU region and then follow this YouTube guide to install it on the iPhone.
