Smartphones and tablets with pens

Samsung has gone through some serious changes over the last few years. Especially with their launch dates and merging the Note and the S series into a giant smartphone of sorts.

Maybe you took a nap or maybe you spent time with your loved ones. Whatever may be the reason, we’ve compiled all the products that Samsung launched at the Galaxy Unpacked 2022 in this one nice article. You can thank us later.

Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+

As tradition goes, there’s a Plus, then there’s an Ultra, and at the starting line is the smallest of the lot — the Galaxy S22.

Pretty much everything remains the same between the S22 and the S22+. The S22 gets a ‘smaller’ 6.1in FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. In comparison, the Galaxy S22+ flaunts a 6.6in screen.

They both get a triple-cam setup (12MP ultra-wide+50MP wide+10MP telephoto) at the back, a 10MP selfie snapper upfront, ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, 5G support, and IP68 certification.

Prices for the Galaxy S22 start from ₹72,999 (8GB/128GB) and goes up to ₹76,999 (8GB/256GB). Meanwhile the Galaxy S22+ starts from ₹84,999 (8GB/128GB) and goes up to ₹88,999 (8GB/256GB).

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

The S22 Ultra is the biggest and boldest of the lot. The Ultra is just not in the name but in size too. There’s a 6.8 Edge QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a whopping 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. Obviously, the Ultra is also now the new Note which is to say it comes with a built-in S-Pen holder and all of the Note features.

The Ultra also takes the camera to ultra heights. There’s a whopping 112MP ultra-wide lens, a 108MP wide lens, and dual 10MP telephoto lenses – one with 3x optical zoom and another with 10x optical zoom. In the front, you get a single 40MP camera for your selfies and video calls.

Prices start from ₹1,09,999 for the 12GB/256GB model and ₹1,18,999 for the 12GB/512GB variant.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series

Three smartphones and now three tablets as well. The Galaxy Tab S8 comes in three sizes. All the tablets also get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor to do the heavy lifting along with 8 or 12GB of RAM. The Ultra also gets a laptop-crushing 16GB RAM along with 512GB storage. You can upgrade all tablets to 1TB storage with a microSD card.

The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is the biggest and the heaviest of the lot. The 14.6in AMOLED display (2960x1848) is as big as a modern-day work laptop. Hopefully, that 11,200mAh battery will last you an entire day as well. There’s a 45W fast charger in the box of all the variants.

They also have USB Type-C 3.2, an S-Pen (in the box), speakers with Dolby Atmos, an in-display fingerprint reader (the base S8 gets fingerprint reader on the side key) and a rear 13MP camera with 6MP ultra-wide lens too. All variants get a 12MP ultra-wide front camera as well but the S8 Ultra has an extra 12MP wide camera too.

The Tab S8 (11in display) starts at ₹58,999, while the Tab S8+ (12.4in display) starts at ₹74,999 and Tab S8 Ultra (14.6in display) starts from ₹1,08,999.
