FiiO KA2 is a compact USB DAC/AMP

It’s all about quality when it comes to audio these days and FiiO has set out to build a compact and powerful USB DAC/AMP to do just that. Providing high-quality audio to the avid audiophile, the device has been dubbed the KA2.

The KA2 features dual CS43131 DAC chips and a 4.4mm balanced audio port. The build is an all-metal construction with a striking black and gold colour scheme and FiiO has used its 7th-generation mechanical architecture to achieve the highest quality possible for the price range. Weighing in at just 12.3g, the DAC supports DSD 256 and 32bit/384kHz PCM formats… so it may seem light but can do some pretty heavy lifting. 

It also sports a multi-colour ring-shaped RGB LED indicator that uses different colours for different audio bitrates, so you know exactly what resolution files you are playing. Need some colour? This device supports 5 digital filters allowing you the freedom to adjust the output using the FiiO Control App as per your taste. The KA2 features a signal-to-noise ratio of 131db and a THD+N of 0.0005% which helps it achieve ultra-low distortion and cleaner outputs.
