Garmin eTrex Touch is a portable GPS navigator with touchscreen and preloaded maps

Offering up to 130 hours of battery use with all satellites, 650 hours in expedition mode

Garmin has introduced its latest handheld GPS navigator, the eTrex Touch, designed for outdoor adventures. Whether you’re hitting the trails or sticking it on your bike, the eTrex Touch literally shows you the way, no life lessons included. It features a 3-inch color TFT touchscreen with a 240 x 400-pixel resolution, letting you navigate maps and zoom in with touch controls.

The eTrex Touch comes preloaded with TopoActive maps, highlighting trails, terrain contours, lakes, and other key landscape features. For more detail, an optional Outdoor Maps+ subscription at $4.99 (approx. Rs. 442) per month provides satellite imagery, campground locations, and additional data layers.

Using the Garmin Explore app, you can also plan your routes ahead of time, while the device keeps you updated with real-time weather forecasts. It also features multi-band GPS and multi-GNSS support, along with a digital compass and Geocaching Live updates for added navigation precision.

The eTrex Touch is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that charges via USB-C, offering up to 130 hours of use with all satellite systems and multi-band enabled, or up to 650 hours in expedition mode, per Garmin. It carries an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, measures 2.6 × 4.2 × 1.0 inches, and weighs 150 grams.

The Garmin eTrex Touch is available for $449 (approx. Rs.39,800).
