Garmin Instinct 3 series launched in India, first in line with an AMOLED display option

Garmin’s adventure-ready Instinct 3 series has launched in India, offering rugged smarts in two sizes—45mm and a beefier 50mm. Garmin says this is the first time it is using AMOLED screens for its Instinct series smartwatches. So you get to choose between an AMOLED display or a solar-powered option that keeps ticking for longer. The Instinct E kicks off at ₹35,990, while the full-fat Instinct 3 starts at ₹46,990. 

The Instinct 3 series sports a toughened-up design, featuring a metal-reinforced bezel, a fibre-reinforced polymer case, and a scratch-resistant display built to take a beating. Plus, its got a MIL-STD 810H certification and 100-meter water resistance. As for battery life, the AMOLED model keeps going for up to 24 days, while the solar edition—true to Garmin’s sun-loving tradition—delivers unlimited juice under optimal sunlight.

Garmin’s Instinct 3 series also features a built-in LED flashlight with adjustable brightness, red light, and strobe mode to ensure you’re never left fumbling in the dark. As for health tracking, all the essentials are here, from heart rate monitoring and sleep tracking to HRV status and stress monitoring, plus a smorgasbord of sports modes to keep your workouts on point. Navigation is robust, thanks to multi-band GPS and SatIQ for pinpoint accuracy, backed by an altimeter, barometer, and compass—because getting lost shouldn't be an option.
