Google Pixel 9a launched in India for ₹49,999

Balancing brains and budget!

Google has introduced the Pixel 9a in India, expanding its Pixel 9 series lineup. Priced from ₹49,999, the mid-range smartphone runs on the Tensor G4 chipset and comes preloaded with Android 15. Google also commits to seven years of software support, covering Pixel Drops, OS upgrades, and security updates.

The Pixel 9a features a 6.3-inch Actua pOLED Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,700-nit peak brightness, all protected by Gorilla Glass 3. Google has given the design a refresh—the rear camera module now sits flush with the body instead of sticking out. The phone features an aluminium frame paired with a matte-textured plastic back that is said to resist fingerprints. Plus, it also comes with an IP68 rating.
