Harley Davidson Nightster set to launch in India

Night time is the right time

Packing 90 horses thanks to the new 975cc liquid-cooled V-Twin engine that first appeared on the Bronx street naked concept but shelved later, the Harley Davidson Nightster is the one to take it to production. Like the bigger mills in the company’s profile, this one also has a variable valve timing system albeit only at the intake valves.

Similar to the Sportster S, the Nightster features a steel tubular chassis that is lighter and more agile, bringing the weight down to a cool 218Kgs. It also gets full LED lighting and a full suite of rider assists. While the seat height is set at 705mm, there’s no details on ground clearance yet.

There’s a 19inch front wheel fitted to 41mm Showa forks and the back gets a Showa monoshock at the back. The Nightster is expected to launch in India in the upcoming months and will approximately be priced around the 14-15 lakh rupee mark.
