We’ve all had the pleasure of being victim to a foam dart headshot at some point in our childhood. Well, after traumatising one generation of kids with foam darts and balls, Hasbro’s Nerf has now moved on to gel blasters and gel ammunition. The new Nerf Pro Gelfire Mythic Full Auto Blaster is pretty much as close to bullets as you can get without doing any real damage, with more velocity, precision and range.
You can use either the full auto mode or semi-auto mode if you want to conserve ammo. The pellets are made from hydrated super absorbent polymer rounds using patented technology and they burst on impact (meaning you won’t hurt your back constantly picking up your ammo to reload).
The rifle itself carries 800 rounds in the top-down compartment and functions similarly to a paintball gun. 10,000 projectiles are included too, so you’ll have plenty to play with before having to purchase more (unless you are really targeting someone with a vengeance). The barrel is removable for more compact transportation, while the stock is extendable for more comfort.
