Honor X9b launched for ₹25,999

Honor has unveiled its newest mid-range smartphone, the X9b, in India. The smartphone, part of the X-series, comes with a 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip and 8GB of RAM.

The Honor X9b, equipped with dual-SIM (Nano) functionality, operates on Android 13 with Magic OS 7.2. Its standout feature is a 6.78-inch 1.5K (1,200x2,652 pixels) curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Honor says the screen is fortified with Ultra-Bounce Anti Drop tech, engineered to absorb impact from drops up to 1.2 times.

The Honor X9b features a 108-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.75 aperture, a 5-megapixel wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it houses a 16-megapixel camera designed for selfies and video chats.

In terms of storage, the Honor X9b offers a 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and for connectivity, the device supports 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and features a USB Type-C port for data transfer and charging.

The Honor X9b also features an in-display fingerprint scanner and is equipped with a 5,800mAh battery that promises up to three days of battery life, and supports 35W wired charging for quick power top-ups.  The Honor X9b is priced for ₹25,999 in India and is available in Midnight Black and Sunrise Orange colours.
