Huawei's latest FreeClip introduces a left-right agnostic open-ear format

Priced at Rs. 14,999

Huawei has introduced the FreeClips open‑ear wireless earbuds in India, featuring a distinctive C‑bridge design and an ergonomic, non‑invasive fit that keeps you aware of your surroundings. Huawei says you can pop either bud into either ear without the courtesy of self‑adaptive left‑right audio channels.

The FreeClips sport a three‑part clip design – an ergonomic Comfort Bean for a snug fit, an Acoustic Ball moulded after your ear’s concha, and a flexible C‑bridge with nine structural wires and adaptive sensors.

Their rounded silhouette and ambient‑aware acoustics make them decent for all‑day wear. And, you can customise playback with gesture controls or even answer calls by nodding or shaking your head, and dual‑device connectivity ensures you stay linked to two gadgets at once.

Each Huawei FreeClips earbud weighs about 5.6 g and carries an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. Inside each bud, there’s a 10.8 mm dual‑magnet driver, and a DNN‑powered multi‑mic system cuts down background noise. The buds support SBC, AAC, and L2HC codecs for high‑quality streaming.

On battery, Huawei says you’ll get up to eight hours per bud, extending to 32 hours with the 510 mAh charging case. A full recharge takes just 40 minutes, and a quick 10‑minute boost adds three hours of playback. Single‑earbud mode stretches runtime even further.

Available in Beige, Purple, and Black, the  Huawei FreeClips are priced at Rs. 14,999 in India.
