Indus Battle Royale’s first trailer gets the royal treatment at New York Times Square

Bringing pride to the nation…

This Independence Day, it's time to celebrate everything made by Indians, for Indians. And what better way to feel the pride than the first trailer of the Indo-Futuristic Battle Royale Indus making its debut in New York’s Times Square? This AAA Battle Royale game has been created and developed in Pune by SuperGaming and is all set to release on mobile, PC and Consoles next year.

SuperGaming also conducted a closed community playtest for the game at its studio in Pune. The audience includes players, content creators and esports pros and by using the feedback they provided, Supergaming wants to further finetune several design decisions. This step helps the developers work hand-in-hand with the community to craft a game that will be as or more successful than its previous endeavours – MaskGun and Silly Royale.

The major learnings and takeaways from the playtest include that over 80% of the community has a positive sentiment towards the Indo-Futuristic theme, with 50% of those players wanting more game development and behind-the-scenes content. While the demographic was mostly invitees from across the country, under the age of 25, it was revealed that about 30% of players prefer gyroscopic controls in-game.

All this information and data collected will work in the favour of SuperGaming to develop game audiences all over the world truly enjoy, while retaining an India-first attitude. And of course, do head on over and check out the trailer for a glimpse into what the game truly brings.
