Itel rolled out their latest batch of wallet-friendly smartphones – the P55 and Itel P55+. The regular P55 goes for ₹7,999 and comes in Aurora Blue, Moonlit Black, and Brilliant Gold. Meanwhile, if you're eyeing the P55+, it's priced at ₹9,499 and comes in Meteor Black and Royal Green. The Royal Green variant of P55+ has got a Vegan Leather finish if that's your vibe.
The dual-SIM Itel P55 and P55+, run on Android 13 and sports a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Both the smartphones have hole-punch cutouts for the selfie camera, plus, Dynamic Bar feature that lets you access face unlock, background calls, and battery notifications.
Powering the series is the octa-core Unisoc T606 SoC. Itel P55 and P55+ also have Memory Fusion tech that means the onboard RAM in these new smartphones can be virtually expanded. The Itel P55+ takes it up a notch with a 16GB of RAM (including virtual memory), and a 256GB of onboard storage. Meanwhile, the Itel P55 offers a choice between 12GB and 24GB RAM options (including virtual memory) paired with 128GB of standard onboard storage.
The Itel P55 and P55+ have AI-backed 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup, and 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Plus, the Itel P55+ adds an extra layer of security with its face unlock feature and fingerprint sensor. As for battery, both the smartphones have 5,000mAh battery units. The former supports 18W fast charging, while the latter takes it up a notch with 45W charging. With 45W fast charging, Itel says you can hit 70 percent battery in 30 minutes. The Plus variant offers three charging modes – hypercharge, low temp charging, and AI-based smart charging.
