Mini has introduced the John Cooper Works Countryman All4 to the Indian market, with prices starting at Rs.64.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Touted as the ‘fastest and most powerful Mini ever’, this performance-focused SUV is powered by a turbocharged petrol engine and is available for booking as a CBU import.
Beneath the bonnet, the JCW Countryman houses a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine producing 300bhp and 400Nm of torque. It pairs with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox and Mini’s All4 all-wheel-drive system, allowing the SUV to sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds, while the electronically limited top speed is 250 km/h.
The JCW Countryman All4 has a muscular and dynamic design that pays tribute to its motorsport roots. Standout features include JCW-specific aerodynamic elements and vertical front reflectors that accentuate its wide stance, complemented by MINI LED headlights with horizontal bars in JCW Signature Mode.
Sporty touches such as red highlights on the brake calipers, roof, and mirrors, along with a quad-exhaust setup, a larger roof spoiler, and blacked-out ‘COUNTRYMAN’ lettering, underline its performance-oriented character. The ensemble is completed with 19-inch five-spoke alloy wheels and prominent JCW badges on the C-pillars.
Inside, the Mini JCW Countryman adopts a clean, minimalistic layout, with the cockpit divided into upper and lower zones. The upper section houses vertical door handles and air vents, while the cabin features electronically adjustable JCW Sports Seats, JCW Black combination upholstery, and JCW Dashboard Trim. Aluminum JCW-branded steering wheel paddles add a sporty touch.
Tech highlights include an OLED display running Mini OS9, HUD, a fish-eye camera, and a Harman Kardon HiFi audio system. Safety features are comprehensive, with front passenger and side curtain airbags, dynamic stability control, a crash sensor and cornering brake control.
