Kia EV3 sports a design that's sure to turn heads

This SUV is ready to party

Kia has pulled the wraps off its latest EV3 electric SUV. The car is based on the E-GMP platform and will come in two versions – Standard and the spicier GT Line. The car comes with a claimed WLTP driving range of up to 600km and fast charging capability.

Inside the cabin, the EV3 has a minimalist vibe, centred around a 30-inch screen setup. This includes twin 12.3-inch screens for the touchscreen infotainment and digital instrument cluster, plus a 5-inch display for climate control. The AC vent runs along the dashboard's width.

The interiors can be had in Subtle Grey, Warm Grey, and Blue finishes for the interiors, or go bold with the Onyx Black in the GT trim. Plus, the upholstery is eco-friendly, so you can also feel good about your stylish choice. The EV3 also offers configurable ambient lighting, a personal AI voice assistant, an optional 12-inch head-up display, a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel (upgraded to a three-spoke unit in the GT trim), a Harman Kardon sound system, and an advanced ADAS suite to keep you safe on the road.

Much like its flagship sibling, the EV9, the EV3 embodies Kia's 'Opposites United' design philosophy. Up front, it sports an angular fascia with a sealed-off Tiger Nose grille, flanked by Kia's signature 'star map' LED lighting pattern that houses L-shaped LED DRLs. The front bumper integrates into the overall fascia, creating a cohesive look that's both bold and futuristic.

On the sides, there are flared wheel arches accentuated by thick black claddings. These arches house uniquely designed alloy wheels, adding a touch of funky flair to the SUV's profile. The rear door handles are integrated into the C-pillars. The long, sloping roofline flows into a hatchback-style tailgate, giving the EV3 a crossover appeal that's both sporty and practical.

Moving to the rear, the EV3 features L-shaped LED taillamps that stretch across both ends, united by a central plastic element. Adding to its visual appeal are a sculpted tailgate and a raked windshield, lending a dynamic look to the SUV. The chunky silver skid plate in the bumper adds a rugged touch. For those opting for the GT trim, you'll spot the prestigious GT badges, signalling its performance prowess. The EV3 offers a palette of nine hues, including two exclusive shades—Aventurine Green and Terracotta—that promise to turn heads and make a bold statement wherever you go.
