Whoever said toys are for kids probably didn’t know about Legos… ok they have but Lego has once again come up with an exclusively-designed and limited-edition piece from our favourite movie. The one in the discussion here is Lego’s latest automotive release - the Nissan Skyline GT-R right out of 2 Fast 2 Furious. The automobile is a version of Brian O’Conner’s (Paul Walker) 1999 Nissan Skyline GT-R R34.
A part of Lego’s Speed Champions series, the kit has 319 pieces and comes with a figure of Conner, the cop cum street racer slash secret agent protagonist.
An exact replica of the original car, this lego piece features squared-off headlights, stagger-sized afterburner tail lights and a wing on the trunk. There is also a nitrous oxide bottle, plus metallic wheels, GT-R branding, blue stripes and underglow for some real-life effect.
Too eager to buy one. Well you can’t, at least as of now because the Skyline GT-R goes on sale in January 2023 and will reportedly cost around €24.99 EUR (₹2,160).
