Mahindra BE6 Batman Edition is here, and it's got Batmobile vibes all over

The limited edition BE6 will have only 300 units made

The Mahindra BE6 electric SUV has always been a bit of a design triumph, delivering futuristic and out-there looks along with a power-packed and electrically charged driving experience. However, the folks at Mahindra have taken things a bit further, capitalising on the many comments and opinions that the car looks a bit like the Batmobile. Enter the Mahindra BE6 Batman Edition, a limited edition electric SUV which comes with official Batman branding and styling.

Priced at Rs. 27,79,000 (ex-showroom), the Batman Edition of the BE6 is only going to be available in a limited run of 300 units, with bookings commencing on August 23. If you're interested, you need to already be talking to your local Mahindra dealership, or be prepared to book it online when bookings kick off. Deliveries for the car will happen on September 20 - International Batman Day, for added effect.

The Mahindra BE6 Batman Edition comes with officially licensed Dark Knight branding, following the styling and theme of the Dark Knight trilogy of movies. You get a custom satin black colour option, custom Batman decals and badging all around the car including on the wheel caps, and R20 alloy wheels, Other touches include gold brake callipers for contrast against the satin black, the infinity sun roof with Dark Knight branding in the lighting elements, and Batman carpet lamps for when you open the doors. It's great for fans of Batman, especially the Dark Knight trilogy.

Even the interior gets specific Batman theming, including gold accents, a Batman Edition plaque with the vehicle serial number, and Batman elements on the displays. The price mentioned is without including the charger. The car itself is based on the BE6 Pack Three variant with the 79kWh battery pack - this is the top-end variant of the BE6.
