Maserati Grecale Folgore EV Launched in India for Rs.1.89 crore (ex-showroom)

Supports 22 kW AC and 150 kW DC fast charging, promising up to 501 km of range!

Maserati has officially launched its first all-electric SUV, the Grecale Folgore, in India, priced at Rs.1.89 crore (ex-showroom). This electric offering joins the existing petrol-powered Grecale lineup, which consists of the standard variant, the Modena, and the Trofeo.

Powering the Grecale Folgore is a 105 kWh battery paired with dual electric motors, one on each axle, resulting in an all-wheel-drive setup. Together, the motors generate 550 hp and 820 Nm of torque. The SUV weighs 2480 kg and sprints from 0–100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 220 km/h. Maserati claims a driving range of up to 501 km on a single charge, with support for both 22 kW AC and 150 kW DC fast charging.

Inside, the Folgore retains most of the interior layout from the petrol variants. The cabin houses three digital displays, a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch central infotainment screen, and an 8.8-inch climate control touchscreen. The steering wheel integrates multiple controls, and behind it sit oversized paddle shifters along with dedicated buttons for audio adjustments.

Buyers can customise their EV extensively. Exterior personalisation options include multiple alloy wheel designs, bronze brake calipers, and an impressive palette of 24 exterior colors. The cabin can be tailored with 16 upholstery choices, while premium add-ons include a 1,285W 21-speaker Sonus Faber audio system, a heated leather steering wheel, a panoramic glass roof, rear privacy glass, and front/rear parking sensors.

Visually, the Folgore differentiates itself with EV-exclusive touches such as a reworked bumper design, Maserati’s signature low-set concave grille, the trident badge on the D-pillar, and Folgore badging on the fenders and tailgate.
