Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the all-new C 300 AMG Line in India with a price tag of ₹69 lakh. This swanky model now reigns supreme as the top-tier offering in the C-Class lineup, taking over from the previous C 300d AMG Line.

The top-of-the-line C-Class arrives decked out in the AMG Line package, featuring sportier front and rear bumpers, along with some distinctive AMG touches inside. Adding to the allure, it also comes standard with the 'Night Package', giving the cabin a sleek blacked-out appearance. Mercedes is also offering the C 300 with exclusive Manufaktur colour options like the eye-catching Patagonia Red Bright and Sodalite Blue.

The C 300 also comes with exclusive features, including a Burmester 3D surround sound system, digital lights, augmented reality navigation, blind spot assist, and the keyless-go comfort package.

Under the hood, the new C 300 packs a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine churning out 258hp and 400Nm of torque. It comes equipped with an integrated starter generator (ISG) that kicks in with an extra 22hp and 205Nm, along with an overboost function providing an additional 27hp for around 30 seconds. According to Mercedes, this overboost function can be activated multiple times in succession until specific temperature limits are reached. The engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission, delivering a claimed 0-100kph sprint in 6 seconds and a top speed of 250kph.

Mercedes-Benz has not only introduced the new C 300 but also added new features across the C-Class range and the GLC SUV. Updates to the rest of the C-Class lineup, including the C 200 and C 200d, bring a host of new features such as heated and ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, six fast-charging USB-C ports, and adaptive high beam assist. Additionally, the GLC now includes heated and ventilated front seats and new side rear airbags, increasing the total airbag count to nine.
