Motorola Edge 50 Pro comes with Pantone colours and certifications, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor

It's priced at Rs. 31,999 onwards in India

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro has been announced in India, and promises a new and more colourful approach to the mid-range product segment for Android smartphones. Priced at Rs. 31,999 onwards in India, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, and comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Interestingly, it also looks good, thanks to three colour variants curated by colour space specialist Pantone. Don't miss the rather striking Luxe Lavender variant.

There are also a few other Pantone collaborative elements, including Pantone validation for the camera and display. The phone has a 6.7-inch pOLED 1.5K (1220p) display, which also comes with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness level of 2000nits. At the back is a triple-camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 10-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera, along with a 50-megapixel front camera.

What sets the Motorola Edge 50 Pro apart from the competition in the segment is its IP68 water and dust resistance rating, 125W wired fast charging, and 50W wireless charging. There's also Android 14 out of the box along with Motorola's near-stock approach to the operating system, and a promise of three major Android version updates.
