MSI Titan GT77 is a gaming laptop with the capabilities of a desktop

Return of the Titans

MSI announced the return of their highest-performance gaming notebook, the Titan series. The Titan GT77 wants to smack your wallet and your desktop and to do so MSI has put in an Intel, desktop-class, Core i9-12900HX and Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. It has four memory slots, supporting up to 128GB of memory and 32TB of storage.

The device aims to reach a whopping 250W of combined power delivery to the CPU and GPU using MSI’s OverBoost technology and comes with an advanced level of cooling. But, the standout feature seems to be the RGB light bar (obviously) and mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX Ultra Low Switch. A mechanical keyboard on a laptop you say? Yes sir, and it’s here for delivering that tactile and crispy keypress. All of this is packed in a 3.1kg body, a small compromise for you gamers and your backs, judging by what lies within.

It’s clear that the Titan GT77 has packed desktop-calibre performance and expandability, and reshaped the way of desktop replacement with its 23mm-thin chassis. MSI has also announced the launches coming later this year including the Raider GE77 HX/67 HX, another powerhouse, the Vector GP76 HX/66 HX, which is focused on high performance and the CreatorPro X17 which is aimed at professionals.

The Titan GT77 will not come cheap, priced starting at ₹5,26,990. But, if you are looking for the ultimate desktop replacement laptop and a money heist to afford it, this might be the laptop for you.
