MWC 2023: Honor Magic5 Pro has a triple camera setup sitting as a centrepiece on the back

Honor, at the Mobile World Congress 2023, announced the launch of the Honor Magic5 series including the flagship Honor Magic5 Pro. The smartphone features symmetry dual-curved ultra-narrow bezels on both sides and a star wheel triple camera design with cameras sitting as the centrepiece on the back cover. It has a 6.81in LTPO Display with Quad-Curved Floating Screen, it delivers peak HDR brightness of 1800 nits.

The camera combination comprises a 50MP wide camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP telephoto camera. Equipped with the all-new Honor Image Engine, the Magic5 Pro also debuts an all-new Millisecond Falcon Capture algorithm and AI Motion Sensing Capture, which automatically detects the highest point of a jump and captures the frame in ultra-high definition.

The smartphone is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and what is said to be the industry's first Wi-Fi and Bluetooth standalone antenna architecture for improving the Wi-Fi performance by 200% and reducing Wi-Fi latency by 30%, as claimed by Honor. It runs on the MagicOS 7.1 based on Android 13 and supports 66W Wired and 50W Wireless Honor SuperCharge. The Honor Magic5 Pro will be available in Glacier Blue, Meadow Green, Coral Purple, Orange and Black at a starting price of €1199 (around ₹1,05,115).
