Xiaomi’s star flagship, the 15 Ultra, is officially out. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s latest 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite, backed by Adreno GPU, Hexagon NPU and up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM. It runs on Android 15 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 and is set for four OS upgrades.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra sports a 6.73-inch WQHD+ AMOLED display, dishing out a 120Hz dynamic refresh rate and 3200 nits of peak brightness. Built tough, it features the Xiaomi Guardian Structure with Shield Glass 2.0 for drop resistance, a CNC-milled aluminium frame, and Gorilla Glass 7i safeguarding the camera module.
Photography buffs are in for a treat with four Leica-tuned cameras. The 50MP main sensor with OIS leads the charge, joined by a 50MP ultrawide, a 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto lens with 3x zoom, OIS, and a monstrous 200MP ISOCELL HP9 periscope lens with 4.3x zoom and OIS. Up front a 32MP selfie shooter.
Powering the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is a 5410mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 90W wired and 80W wireless charging. Storage maxes out at 512GB UFS 4.1, while connectivity is top-tier with 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, NFC, and a speedy USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port.
Joining the lineup is the Xiaomi 15, sharing the same Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and up to 16GB of RAM. It sports a 6.36-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3200 nits of peak brightness.
Camera duties are handled by a 50MP OIS-equipped main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP telephoto with 3x zoom and OIS—mirroring the Ultra’s trio. A 32MP selfie shooter makes the cut, too. Powering it all is a 5240mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra goes big on specs—and price—starting at €1,499 (approx. ₹1,36,100), while the standard Xiaomi 15 keeps things (relatively) wallet-friendly at €999 (approx. ₹90,700).
