Next-gen Amazon Echo Frames are equal parts style and smarts

Fancy a fashionable Carrera option?

Fresh off the press from Amazon's Fall event, are the brand new Amazon Echo Frames. Amazon says the next-gen glasses come loaded with Alexa and it has upped the ante with an extended battery life and better audio. Starting at $269 (approx ₹ 22,446), the smart glasses come in five fresh styles to choose from, and you can customise them with prescription-ready, sunglass, or blue light lenses.

The fresh Echo Frames are designed for comfort with a lightweight build and 15% slimmer temples. Plus, Amazon has amped up the battery life game, giving you up to six hours of media playback or talk time on a full charge.

The audio architecture has been redesigned with custom-built speakers that pump out three times more bass than the last generation. They've also fine-tuned the sound direction making sure it's focused on your ears while minimising the outside noise.

The Frames now boast speech processing tech that supercharges Alexa's performance. Amazon claims it's up to ten times better at recognizing your voice, even in the rowdiest or windiest conditions.

If you're all about that fashion-forward life, Amazon has joined forces with Carrera Eyewear to whip up a brand-new line of smart eyewear that's equal parts style and smarts. They're bringing together the iconic Carrera flair with the brilliance of Alexa, and we can't wait to look at the result from close. The Carrera Smart Glasses come in two designs – the Carrera Cruiser and the Carrera Sprinter. These frames pack with the power of Alexa to keep you connected and assist with your daily tasks.
