Nothing Ear Stick is the new out-of-the-box design from the company

Stick it to the competition

Nothing has come to be known for its iconic out-there designs and if you are a fan of the unique, this one will definitely spark some excitement. The second edition of the company’s TWS earbuds dubbed the ‘Ear Stick’ has been revealed via an Instagram post.

While we may not know much about the inner workings of the device as yet, the video shared does provide us with a glimpse of how the case opens and closes to allow access to the earbuds themselves. Stepping away from the traditional, as they tend to do so well, the case is less of an egg and more of an omelette. The high-fashion accessory-like case (somewhat resembling a lipstick) actually ‘rolls’ in place to open and shut.

While the rolling mechanism does seem pretty cool and unique, the longevity of the hinge-less case is still a bit of a question mark. The Nothing Ear Stick are likely to be quite similar to the Ear (1) earbuds in design and its feature-set but rumour on the street is that these buds may not pack on Active Noise cancellation. Although, the stalks are looking longer and with the packed TWS market, the stakes are much higher too.

The company is yet to drop an official launch date. Until then, we must resign to our fate of endlessly refreshing our feeds in the hope of some juicy leaks and facts.
