OnePlus Pad is the brand's first tablet priced starting at ₹37,999

Pre-orders begin April 28th!

OnePlus has finally decided to enter the tablet market with its newest creation - the OnePlus Pad. After weeks of speculation and anticipation, the company has announced the tablet's release date and prices, which have left some users scratching their heads.

Its definitely a pretty package, with a large 11.61in display with a 144Hz refresh rate along with Dolby Vision support and a unique 7:5 aspect ratio. The tablet packs in a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It even offers a 9510mAh battery and supports up to 67W fast charging, and the fast charger is included in the retail package.

As for cameras, the tablet brings a 13MP primary camera on the rear which is capable of shooting up to 4K videos at 30fps, the 8MP selfie camera has video recording capabilities limited to 1080p. The tablet runs on Android 13-based OxygenOS 13.1 and will see two major Android OS updates in the months to come.

While it may be a beauty, it is lacking a bit in terms of functionality. It is missing a 5G variant. And for those hoping to use their SIM card to access the internet on the go, you'll be disappointed to learn that the OnePlus Pad only has a Wi-Fi variant. They've also removed the 3.5mm audio jack from the tablet, so you'll need to invest in some fancy Bluetooth headphones if you want to enjoy some tunes while using the OnePlus Pad. The tablet will be priced at a starting price of ₹37,999 for the 8GB + 128GB and ₹39,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. It will be available in only one colour - Halo Green.
