If you're in the market for a budget-friendly Android tablet for everyday use or something kid-friendly, OnePlus has introduced a new option—the OnePlus Pad Lite. Stripped down to cover just the basics, the Pad Lite looks like a decent option. The tablet starts at Rs. 12,999.
The OnePlus Pad Lite comes equipped with an 11-inch LCD featuring a 16:10 aspect ratio and peak brightness of 500 nits. Audio is handled by a quad-speaker setup with Hi-Res Audio certification, paired with OnePlus’s Omnibearing Sound Field tech, which, as per OnePlus, automatically optimises sound based on how the tablet is held.
Under the hood, it runs on the MediaTek Helio G100 chipset and ships with OxygenOS 15.0.1. It also supports cross-device functionality within the OnePlus ecosystem, including screen sharing, a universal clipboard, and synced photo galleries. File sharing is simplified too, with support for Quick Share on Android and O+ Connect for Apple devices.
Powering the OnePlus Pad Lite is a 9,340mAh battery, which the company claims can deliver up to 80 hours of music playback or around 11 hours of video streaming. On standby, it’s rated to last up to 54 days. When it needs charging, the included 33W SUPERVOOC fast charger helps cut down downtime with quick top-ups.
