OnePlus has launched two new additions to its Nord series — the Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 — both designed with performance in focus. The Nord 5 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, while the Nord CE 5 features MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 Apex chip.

OnePlus Nord 5
The Nord 5 features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and a rapid 3000Hz touch response, making it well-suited for smooth visuals and responsive gaming. It can hit up to 1800 nits of peak brightness and is shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
Inside, it features up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Fueling the device is a 6800mAh battery, which supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, 5W reverse wired charging, and bypass charging to help reduce heat while gaming. On the software front, it ships with OxygenOS 15, based on Android 15.
On the camera side, the OnePlus Nord 5 comes equipped with a dual rear setup, headlined by a 50MP primary sensor and supported by an 8MP ultra-wide lens. It offers up to 20x digital zoom, making it flexible enough for wide landscapes and close-up detail. Up front, there's a 50MP selfie camera housed in a punch-hole cutout, complete with electronic image stabilisation (EIS) and support for 4K video recording.
Connectivity features include dual SIM 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. For audio, the phone is fitted with dual stereo speakers to enhance media playback and calls.
The OnePlus Nord 5 is available in three finishes — Dry Ice, Phantom Grey, and Marble Sands — and starts at a price of Rs.31,999.
OnePlus Nord CE 5
The OnePlus Nord CE 5 features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display, offering Full HD+ resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1430 nits of peak brightness for better outdoor visibility.
It’s the first smartphone to debut with MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 Apex chipset, built on a mix of performance-focused A715 cores and power-efficient A510 cores. Paired with either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, the phone also supports virtual RAM expansion and includes a microSD card slot for up to 1TB of extra storage.
Powering the device is a large 7100mAh battery with support for 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, keeping it ready for extended use. On the camera front, the Nord CE 5 includes a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with both OIS and EIS, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide camera. A 16MP Sony IMX480 selfie shooter sits up front.
The phone comes in three colours: Marble Mist (8.27mm), Black Infinity, and Nexus Blue (both 8.17mm thick). In India, the OnePlus Nord CE 5 starts at Rs.24,999.
