‘F’ for fast, fierce, and feature-packed?

Oppo has launched the F29 Pro 5G and F29 5G in India. Oppo claims the newly launched smartphones come equipped with AI LinkBoost tech and Hunter Antenna Architecture, which are said to enhance signal strength. 

The Oppo F29 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, while the F29 Pro 5G runs on MediaTek's Dimensity 7300 Energy SoC. Both models offer up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, running Android 15-based ColorOS 15.0.

The smartphones feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 1,200 nits of brightness. The Pro variant is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, while the standard model comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. 

Both smartphones also feature a 360-degree Armour Body and carry MIL-STD-810H-2022 military-grade certification. They also support underwater photography and boast IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, ensuring top-tier dust and water resistance.

The phones are equipped with a 50MP primary rear camera, accompanied by a 2MP secondary sensor and a 16MP front camera. While both models support 4K video recording at 30fps and have an underwater photography mode, the Pro variant gets optical image stabilisation (OIS), whereas the standard version relies on electronic image stabilisation (EIS).

In terms of battery, the F29 5G packs a 6,500mAh cell with 45W SuperVOOC charging, while the F29 Pro 5G houses a slightly smaller 6,000mAh battery but supports faster 80W SuperVOOC charging.

The Oppo F29 5G starts at ₹23,999 and is available in Glacier Blue and Solid Purple, while the F29 Pro 5G is priced from ₹27,999, offered in Granite Black and Marble White.
