Oppo Find N3 Flip powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset launched for ₹94,999

Easy on the eyes (and in the hand)

Oppo has unveiled its second-generation flip-style smartphone, the Oppo Find N3 Flip. This device boasts a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1440Hz PWM dimming, 240Hz touch sampling, and 1600 nits peak brightness.

Oppo says it has introduced a new screen structure that ditches polarizers, resulting in a 20% reduction in display power consumption. An anti-reflection film has also been applied to slash reflections down to just 1%, five times less than what you'd find on other foldable smartphones, as per Oppo.

The Find N3 Flip has a 3.26-inch vertical display on its cover and it offers support for more than 40 essential apps, including Gmail, Outlook, Uber, and Google Maps. The cover screen has got a 17:9 aspect ratio and 0.3mm bezel. And if you love personalisation, you're in luck because oppo lets you customise the cover screen with up to 20 different styles and offers three quick access widgets, including Messages, Camera, Battery, Recorder, Timer, and To-dos. display. The cover screen also supports a qwerty keyboard to reply to emails and instant messages. When folded, the Find N3 Flip measures 8.55cm and tips the scales at 198g. Also, it is also Oppo’s first smartphone to sport an alert slider.

Oppo says it has also given the hinge in the Find N3 Flip a significant upgrade. It has transitioned from the single friction plate design of the previous generation to a more robust dual friction plate structure, enhancing FlexForm stability. To bolster durability and resistance to drops, OPPO has employed aircraft-grade high-strength steel in the core load-bearing areas. This results in a 25% increase in deformation resistance compared to the Find N2 Flip.

Under the hood, the Find N3 Flip is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset and boasts 12GB of RAM. When it comes to photography, the Find N3 Flip comes with a triple-camera setup arranged in a circular module alongside the cover screen. This setup comprises a 50MP main camera, boasting the Sony IMX890 sensor, and it's paired with a telephoto portrait camera with a 32MP Sony IMX709 sensor. The third camera sensor is a wide-angle wonder, offering a 114-degree field of view, and it packs a punch with its 48MP Sony IMX581 sensor.

For your selfie game and video calls, the Find N3 Flip is equipped with a 32MP Sony IMX709 RGBW punch-hole camera. It even supports 4K video recording at 30fps. The phone's power source is a 4,300mAh battery, juiced up with Oppo's proprietary 44W SuperVOOC fast-charging technology. The Find N3 Flip is priced at ₹94,999.
