The Oppo Reno13 series of smartphones has launched in India, with two new devices - the Oppo Reno13 and Oppo Reno13 Pro being unveiled. Priced at Rs. 37,999 onwards for the Oppo Reno13 and Rs. 49,999 onwards for the Oppo Reno13 Pro, the new smartphones are pitched at users who want decent camera capabilities in the upper mid-range price segment. The new devices come with similar hardware and specifications, but the Pro variant gets slightly better camera capabiltiies than the non-Pro one.
The Oppo Reno13 series is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset on both devices. The Reno13 will come in two variants - 8GB RAM/128GB storage (Rs. 37,999), and 8GB RAM/256GB storage (Rs. 39,999) - while the Reno13 Pro will also come in two variants - 12GB RAM/256GB storage (Rs. 49,999) and 12GB RAM/512GB storage (Rs. 54,999).
Another key difference between the two devices is, of course, the camera setup. The Oppo Reno13 Pro gets a better camera system, with a 50-megapixel primary camera (with the Sony IMX890 sensor), a 50-megapixel telephoto camera (with up to 3.5x optical zoom), and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera.

Other key specifications on the Oppo Reno13 pro include a 5800mAh battery with support for 80W fast wired charging, a 6.83-inch 120Hz display, and RAM and storage specifications of LPDDR5X and UFS 3.1 respectively. Interestingly, both the Oppo Reno13 and Reno13 Pro are IP66, IP68, and IP69 rated for dust and water resistance, making them particularly durable against different levels of water exposure.
