The Oppo Reno13 series of smartphones - comprising of the Oppo Reno13 and Reno13 Pro - will be launching in India on January 9. The new smartphones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, and will come with various AI-based features for photography, meant to enhance the pictures taken. The new smartphones from Oppo will go on sale on Flipkart, on the Oppo online store, and at various smartphone retailers across the country.

The new smartphones will be coming with various AI-based photography features, most of which will be built into the photos app on the device itself. Features such as AI live photo, unblur, clarity enhancer eraser, and reflection remover are part of the suite of AI-based photography enhancement features, meant to improve images captured by the devices.
While both devices in the Oppo Reno13 series will come with a triple-camera setup at the rear, the Reno13 Pro will have a better camera setup, featuring a 50MP IMX890 sensor for the main camera. The telephoto camera will come with 3.5x optical zoom, and up to 120x digital zoom aided by AI. The MediaTek Dimensity 8350 is an upper-mid-range chipset that promises a balance between performance and price.
The Reno13 series is likely to be priced similar to the Reno12 series which was launched in July 2024. The brand also recently launched the flagship Find X8 series in India.
