Philips has launched its new Harmony Series Smart TVs, aimed at viewers who want punchy sound without splurging on a separate soundbar. Available in 55 and 65-inch sizes, the TVs feature a 50W speaker system with a built-in subwoofer, plus Dolby Atmos and DTS audio.
On the visual front, the Harmony Series features a 4K UHD QLED panel with Quantum Dot Technology, along with HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG support. According to Philips, the addition of an AI Picture Quality (PQ) Engine and ΔE<2 colour accuracy calibration is designed to enhance contrast, colour fidelity, and overall picture performance.
The Philips Harmony Series also aims to appeal to gamers and sports enthusiasts with support for 120Hz refresh rate, MEMC, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), ALLM, and HDMI 2.1 ports—features typically associated with smoother motion and reduced input lag. Philips also includes a Game Dashboard and Game Mode Pro, offering real-time access to gaming-specific settings and performance tweaks.
Running on Google TV, the Harmony Series provides access to major streaming platforms like Netflix, YouTube, and Disney+ Hotstar, along with built-in Google Assistant and Chromecast Built-in for hands-free control and content casting. Features like multi-user profiles, Kids Mode, and smart home integration aim to make it a flexible hub for the entire household. The TV also incorporates a metallic, bezel-less design, 360-degree styling, and integrated cable management. Plus, with Ambient Light Adaptation, the panel adjusts brightness and tone based on surrounding lighting—enhancing usability in varied room conditions.

Philips has also launched its 8100 Series Smart QLED TVs in India, available exclusively on Amazon. Offered in 43, 50, 55, and 65-inch variants, the 8100 Series features 4K UHD QLED panels with Quantum Dot Technology, 93% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and support for HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG. A 120Hz refresh rate, MEMC, and ALLM make it suitable for both smooth video playback and gaming, while 30W surround speakers with Dolby Audio promise to deliver an immersive soundstage.
The TVs run on Google TV 5.0, these TVs also offer built-in Google Assistant, Chromecast, AirPlay, and NFC screen mirroring, along with access to all major streaming platforms. Inside, you get a Quad-core A55 processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, HDMI 2.1, Bluetooth 5.1, and dual-band Wi-Fi.
