Realme 10 Pro+ 5G comes with many firsts

What’s new is nice?

Realme is all set to launch its 10 series smartphones in India and the brand seems to want to leave no stone unturned in prepping the podium and keeping the devices in the discussion. Realme, before the launch, revealed that the 10 Pro+ 5G will have a refresh rate of 120Hz and a curved display.

It is also said to feature a couple of the world's first technologies like the 2160Hz PWM Dimming technology for built-in eye protection. In comparison to the standard 480Hz PWM Dimming, the 2160Hz offers 4.5 times improved dimming efficiency for enhanced eye protection. The brand also insists that the 10 Pro+ 5G will be the first OLED display in the world to receive the TUV Rheinland Flicker Free Certificate that ensures even greater eye protection (at least we can expect an eye-friendly screen if there is one).

The smartphone will feature the Hypervision Mode with video colour boost and HDR boost. This feature ensures a higher brightness and dynamic range which means bright areas become brighter and dark areas even darker for a superior depth of colour.

Realme also emphasises that they have used the industry’s most advanced packaging technology - COP Ultra to create a better full-screen viewing experience. As per the brand, the 10 Pro+ 5G features the world’s narrowest bottom bezel of just 2.33mm, claimed to be thinner than the top flagship curved displays.
