The launch of Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ in India seems right around the corner. Word has it that these phones have popped up on a certification site, indicating that their India debut might just be around the corner.
According to a Gizmochina scoop, the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+—bearing model numbers RMX3842 and RMX3840 (respectively)— have shown up on India's Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. Recent leaks suggest that all smartphones in the Realme 12 Pro series might be powered by Qualcomm's mid-range 5G-supported Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC.
Reports suggest the Realme 12 Pro+ might feature a 64MP OmniVision OV64B sensor accompanied by a periscope telephoto lens that offers 3x optical zoom. Meanwhile, the Realme 12 Pro is speculated to come equipped with a Sony IMX709 sensor providing 2x optical zoom. For context, the Realme 11 Pro starts at ₹22,999 in India, while the Realme 11 Pro+ is listed at ₹27,999.
