Redmi 13C to launch in India on December 6, here’s what to expect

Light purse, no curse!

The Redmi 13C is scheduled for its India debut on December 6. This budget-friendly smartphone made its initial launch a few months back in certain markets outside China. However, there are rumours swirling that the India-bound version might undergo some hardware modifications.

If reports are to be believed, the Redmi 13C might pack a beefed-up Helio G99 processor instead of the MediaTek Helio G85 found in its previous versions released elsewhere. Xiaomi's dedicated listing page for the Redmi 13C has revealed the smartphone will be available in Stardust Black and Star Shine Green colour variants.

Additionally, the listing confirms the presence of dual rear cameras, spearheaded by a 50MP primary sensor, akin to the global variant. Complementing this main sensor, the phone is expected to include a 2MP secondary sensor for depth, and an 8MP front camera housed in a water drop-style notch completes the photography setup.

Furthermore, the smartphone features a 6.74-inch IPS LCD display with 720p resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and up to 450 nits of peak brightness. It will operate on Android 13-based MIUI. Keeping the device running is a 5,000mAh battery, supported by 18W fast charging capabilities. With an estimated price tag of around ₹15,000, the Redmi 13C is making waves in the budget smartphone segment.
